I am a Senior Grid Engineer at Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE) Limited, where I focus on grid integration, connection strategy, and technical delivery of renewable projects. My professional experience spans distribution network modelling, grid compliance, and feasibility studies for utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and offshore wind farms.
Before PACE, I worked as a Power Systems Development Engineer at UK Power Networks’ independent DSO. I helped develop tools and products to improve flexible connection assessments, including curtailment analysis and self-serve customer tooling. This included leading the development of Connections Lab, a web application to simplify curtailment estimates for new connection applications triggering distribution and/or transmission constraints, which automatically generates detailed reports with curtailment breakdowns per constraint and highlights peak-curtailment periods.
Before that, I worked as a Distribution System Planning Engineer at SSEN, as part of the technical team delivering several work packages for project TRANSITION and project LEO.
Before that, I worked as a Power System Consultant at ABB Power Grids UK.
I have a PhD in Power Systems from Imperial College London, with a focus on distribution networks and Active Network Management (ANM), and an MSc in Power Systems from the University of Birmingham.
